Kelvo

Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 17, 2026

This policy covers Kelvo, including kelvo.one (the Kelvo company site) and education.kelvo.one (Kelvo Education). Both are operated by Kelvo.

1. Information We Collect

Account information (Kelvo Education): When you create an account, we collect your email address and password (stored securely, never in plain text, via our authentication provider). You may optionally provide your name.

Content you create: Deal underwriting data, assumptions, notes, case study attempts, quiz results, and certification records you create or earn while using Kelvo Education. This data belongs to you and is used to provide the service (saving your work, tracking your progress, awarding certifications) — we do not sell it.

Consulting inquiries (kelvo.one): If you submit a consulting interest form, we collect your name, email, company name, and message.

Site usage information: We use privacy-conscious analytics (Vercel Analytics) to understand aggregate site traffic and which pages are visited, including which Insights articles are read. This is used in aggregate to understand what content is useful — we do not build individual visitor profiles from this data beyond what's needed to operate the site.

We do not currently collect payment information. If Kelvo introduces paid services in the future, this policy will be updated before that happens, and payment processing will be handled by a third-party processor (e.g., Stripe) — Kelvo does not store your card details directly.

2. How We Use Information

  • To provide and operate Kelvo Education (your account, your saved work, your progress and certifications)
  • To respond to consulting inquiries you submit
  • To understand site usage in aggregate and improve Kelvo's content and product
  • To communicate with you about your account or an inquiry you've submitted — we do not send marketing email without your consent

3. Third-Party Service Providers

Kelvo relies on the following third-party services to operate:

  • Supabase — database hosting and user authentication
  • Vercel — website and application hosting, site analytics
  • Anthropic — powers certain AI-driven features (e.g., market data lookups). These requests are made server-side; your personal account information is not sent to this provider as part of those requests.

Each of these providers has its own privacy practices governing how they handle data on our behalf. We select providers that maintain reasonable security practices, but we encourage you to review their policies if you have specific concerns.

4. Cookies & Tracking

Kelvo uses minimal, privacy-conscious analytics that do not rely on invasive tracking cookies. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account information and content for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal or legitimate business purposes (e.g., fraud prevention).

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to certain uses of it. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@kelvo.one. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

7. Children's Privacy

Kelvo is intended for users 18 and older, or the age of majority in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as Kelvo's products and services evolve. We will update the "Last updated" date above when changes are made. Material changes will be communicated to registered users.
