Predicting the fastest lineup — not replacing the coach

CatchPoint helps rowing programs decide which crew lineup is likely fastest — a second opinion alongside seat racing and coaching judgment, not a replacement for either.

It uses paired-comparison (Bradley-Terry) and additive crew-speed models, with per-athlete and crew-interaction terms, validated against synthetic ground truth before any real racing data. Real team data collection is just getting started; the modeling pipeline is still synthetic-only today.
